| Kyoto University: Department of Nuclear Engineering has joined the CP ReCosy as Associated Group. |

Their main interest is the study of actinide chemistry for nuclear waste disposal safety assessment. Their expertise is related with actinide solution (chemical thermodynamics, solution equilibria, advanced analytical techniques by electro-spray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), etc). They are willing to work in the ReCosy intercomparison exercise and share their experience on redox measurements techniques.

Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology: Department of Nuclear and Quantum Engineering (KAIST) has joined the CP ReCosy as Associated Group. Their main interest is the understanding of redox phenomena of radionuclides in aquifers. They are particularly interested in the determination of redox states and redox processes in radionuclide transport. The letter describing their interest can be found at the Intranet page within the KM and Dissemination folder.
Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK). Their main interest is the problems of redox chemistry, for example, in an ongoing project on weathering of U-containing minerals and subsequent migration and immobilization of U series radionuclides in overburden and granitic bedrock. The final goal of these efforts is a quantitative description of the chemical and transport processes. Contributions of STUK at one of the annual meetings could be possible.
